Fine to Dine2021
A film that aims to communicate the importance of mealtimes and cooking as a form of nostalgia and a tool to chart histories, as well as how different ways of cooking can effect the atmosphere of the meal. My film features a tablecloth that documents what is happening before, during and after the meal. I have tried to communicate the importance of the physical aspects, the tableware and food but also the other factors such as the conversations, histories and acts surrounding the meal. I have done this by selecting what to document on my tablecloth from each meal.
